What is this?

New info: Caution when using the watercolor. Ive tried it in that pic and today. When you save, it may save darker, even when I used the drenched tool. I have no idea why it happens, so only used it sparingly.

I don't mean to complain and I do believe all the capabilities in apps. I respect gorillaz Alot. Before rant, this is my entry for the contest. Its very hard for me to sketch digitally. I like traditional pencil sketching, but I love digi coloring.

BUT WHAT IS THIS? I think as a whole the new gorillaz website has dissapointed me alot. For me its always slow and very buggy. It even came close to crashing IE when visiting Plastic Beach.

Also with the features only avaliable on IE 9, not everyone has a windows 7. This site feels only one sided to me.

But this is not including this app they want us to use for drawing. Again don't get me wrong, i believe in all capabilities in apps, but oh boy when I really want to color, its pretty buggy. The eraser is slightly a bug, where it rubbs away the paper corner slightly, but oh boy, apparently, the watercolor tool is pretty much useless. The before is before I submitted it, and the after is when I viewed my drawing after I hit the button.

The most annoying thing about this apps is the overwriting. It does save your previous drawing, but it does have the ability to over write it if you accidently draw a new one. That what happened to my first drawing after clicking the redo button. I clicked refresh also.

So yep, there isn't actually a save button. If you just started, then three hours into you it you refresh, its going to be gone probably.

The button placement I feel is quite off. The tool crayon place next to the eraser can decieve many people because not just that normally you would have the eraser right next the sketching tool, but also the crayon tool looks too much like a pencil, which I like the thiness of the pencil for sketching. Because the pen tool had the same thickness, I kept mistaking the pencil instead, cause erasing more then I needed.

As gorillaz known for their wonderful artwork and animation, I would of expected more options and ease of navigation on the current app. Just a few more or like close to the muro app but not as much. In a way, they seem not to put any effort on the site at all and just dump it on us and see what happens.
