Susanoo Attack on Amaterasu.

This is a photo manipulation done by me using alot of tutorails, using class stuff, and using just a keen eye and lookout. But pretty much the actual editing was done on half of the day. Yes that is me modeling. 

The story is basically this. Amaterasu is a sun kami in japanese mythology, and Susanoo is her brother. The bro is whiner and mischievious man who never wanted to do his job. One reason is because his father Izanagi seem to favored amaterasu alot. So Izanagi was tired of his whine and complains about being a storm Kami, sends him away from heaven. Before he leaves, he pays a visit to Amaterasu, promising his farewell. Amaterasu knows her brothers mischevious behavior, and she prepares for battle, armouring with swords, a bow, and arrrows before he arrives. Upon arrival, Susanoo is intimidate by his sister. To settle the dispute they had a contest to see from objects who gives birth. Amaterasu technically wins, and so afterwards, Susanoo goes on a rampage for loosing. He destroys her rices fields, throws a flayed pony at her loom, etc.  Amaterasu was upset, and fearful, that she ran into the cave to hid. It was then, the earth enter darkness.

I took only two photos, the dool which is straight from japan town, and me. Everything else is somewhere on the internet.

I love layer mask, and I discovered that you can make Fx windows into a clipping mask. That is what helpme make Amaterasu's shape.

The color choices for the background was a self discovery. The orange and purple worked well with this piece, I didn't need too much fire for this.
