Pretty much shows what is a true cherub, except there aren't women cherub as far as I know.

For this piece, I really wanted to make the Idea of having an angel in general. I also remember that demons were angels as well. They are just fallen angels. Somewhere, I heard that Satan was a Cherub. So pretty much, angels are a good representation of good and Evil.

Its also the fact that people don't know what cherubs are and they are not babies. They are the highest ranking angels that are closest to God.

There is also asking ourselves about struggles in ourselves, whether we sucumb to the darkness or the light. Thats what I represents, the human race.

I also noted the heads of a cherub. I put the lion in darkness because they describe Satan as a lion. (Although I remeber somewhere in the bible that jesus was like a lion as you see in the Chronicles of Narnia) I put the ox in the light, cause the ox is supposedly the true face of a cherub.

I choose it as a manga style, but shading to be as real as possible, and still keeping a manga style.
